Slope Scaling Effect and Slope-Conversion-Atlas for Typical Water Erosion Regions in China

چکیده
Slope has obvious scale-dependent characteristics and it changes with the change in DEM resolution, which brings uncertainty to evaluation process of regional resource environment. In this paper, one typical county each six water erosion regions China was selected as sample area, respectively. Based on data ALOS DEM, ASTER GDEM SRTM different spatial resolutions, slope characteristics, such gradient, eigenvalue, frequency cumulative curves, were calculated by using third-order inverse distance square weighted difference algorithm, explore ability depicting terrain these three data. idea geo-information map, “surface-slope conversion atlas” under resolutions constructed achieve grading correction extraction low resolution. The results showed that: (1) resolution decreases, information area tends be more generalized gradually concentrated. curve changed from “tall thin” “short fat”, peak moved low-slope area. Six areas degrees reduction. (2) correction, except for Maoxian, proportion low-resolution converted medium grades (0°–25°) is large. (3) spectrum method a good effect errors generated DEM90 DEM30, rates reached 80% 90%, A atlas can effectively improve expression topography, provide basis environment evaluation, territorial space optimization.

Scaling of a Slope: the Erosion of Tilted Landscapes
We formulate a stochastic equation to model the erosion of a surface with fixed inclination. Because the inclination imposes a preferred direction for material transport, the problem is intrinsically anisotropic. At zeroth order, the anisotropy manifests itself in a linear equation that predicts that the prefactor of the surface height-height correlations depends on direction. The first higher-...
متن کاملSLOPE PROFILE MORPHOMETRY AS AN INDICATOR FOR SLOPE MOVEMENT
Two dimensional slope profile morphometric investigation in a part of the land failure prone Garhwal region of the Lesser Himalaya, Tehri district, U. P., India, indicates that the landslip morphology is closely related to the dominant movement processes active in this terrain. Technique developed for the morphometric analysis of landslips involves the use of five morphometric indices. Each ind...
متن کاملTemporal Variation Pattern of Runoff Generation and Rill Erosion in Different Soils and Slope Gradients
This study was conducted to investigate the temporal variations of runoff and rill erosion in various soil textures under different slope gradients. So, a laboratory experiment was set up in three soil textures (loam, clay loam, and sandy clay loam) and four slope gradients (5, 10, 15, and 20%) using the completely randomized design with three replications. Runoff production and rill erosion we...
متن کاملDynamic Slope Scaling Procedure for Stochastic Integer Programming Problem
Mathematical programming has been applied to various problems. For many actual problems, the assumption that the parameters involved are deterministic known data is often unjustified. In such cases, these data contain uncertainty and are thus represented as random variables, since they represent information about the future. Decision-making under uncertainty involves potential risk. Stochastic ...
